When did you go to the University? Did you graduate? That is a question which I, as a member of the Board of Directors, am not authorised to disclose. Are the translators members of the Editorial Committee?Ī. I have been authorised to examine a translation and determine its accuracy and recommend its acceptance in the form in which it is submitted. In so far as translation of the Bible itself is undertaken, are you responsible for that?Ī. And was it your duty on behalf of the Society to check the translation into English from the original Hebrew of that first volume of the Old Testament Scriptures? In light of your studies and in light of your knowledge? I think that it was your duty, was it not, before the issue of that New World Translation by your Society to check that translation for accuracy? It is the case, is it not, that in 1950 there was prepared and issued what is called the New World Translation of the Christian Greek Scriptures? I think you are able to read and follow the Bible in Hebrew, Greek, Latin, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and French? So that you have a substantial linguistic apparatus at your command? Have you also made yourself familiar with Hebrew? Here is what Franz said in a court testimony under oath: The other 4 men NEVER STUDIED Hebrew OR Koine Greek at any University at all. He DID NOT STUDY ANY HEBREW at a University. He ONLY TOOK TWO HOURS of KOINE GREEK in the University before he dropped out. He never even completed an undergraduate degree. ![]() None of these men had any University education except Franz, who left school after two years. You can read more about them and their background on Wikipedia… This has been the way until the "New World Translation" version of the Bible. Our Lord has sent thousands of these great men to show us the path and translate God's true word. Throughout history the Bible has been translated by scholars of Hebrew or Koine Greek. ![]() Instead they are putting their faith that the translation is correct, when they can do a little reaseach and find that they may have been mislead. People are really studying the Bible, but they do not bother to research why the passages in their Bible differ and who translated it.
